Onion Tomato Thokku

Its so dramatic/different for me when i call it as "Onion tomato thokku". Y ??? B'cos always i love to call it in my own languague "Thakkali(Tomato) Thokku" (Eventhough i add more number of onions). How nice to hear. When it is with chapathi, OMG ! i literally behave like a GLUTTON by asking "Where is it, where is it", never mind what people thinks about me. ;) If any one ask me to give my opinion about this Dish with Chapathi, i am ready to write a book. Bigggggggggggggg Sooooooooooooo much i like this dish. OMG ! Am so eager to give brief about the preparation method without taking much of ur time. Here comes my favorite (MUAH!) dish....... :)

ALL YOU NEED:
Onion - 3 Nos.
Tomato - 1 Nos.
Turmeric powder - Pinch
Grated Ginger - 1/2 spoon
Chilly powder - 3/4 spoon
Curry leaf - 1 twig
Salt - To taste
Oil - 2 spoons

METHOD:
Keep a heavy bottomed kadai. Heat 2 spoons of oil. Add chopped onion, saute it for 5 mins. Add chopped onion, leave it untouched for 2 mins. Add tumeric powder, chilly powder, required salt. Saute until it becomes gooey. Couple of minutes before you put off the flame, add curry leaf, saute it with the gooey mixture and Enzzzzzoooooyyyyyyyy with Chapathi, hot steamed rice, idli etc. etc.
